This fascination leads to a natural design process, in which her intuition takes the lead. She is curious about the properties and behaviors of materials and researches various applications. In a controlled manner, she explores the limits.

Dutch ceramic artist Willem van Hooff uses pottery to explore personal narratives and everyday life. Inspired by the historic role of vessels as carriers of stories, his work reflects on ordinary moments and surroundings. By writing his thoughts and insecurities into the pieces, he turns personal reflections into objects that invite conversation and recognition.

Finnish-born designer Jonas Lutz creates objects characterised by bold simplicity and careful attention to materials. Influenced by Nordic furniture traditions and the design culture of the Netherlands, his work explores form, use and material through clear and considered design solutions.

Dutch designer Mariekke Jansen works between curation and creation. She has a strong eye for form, history and material through dealing in design classics. Her move into designing her own objects reflects a pursuit of individuality and a belief that objects should carry both cultural weight and function.
