We use cookies and also similar technologies such as Local Storage (and where relevant Session Storage). These technologies store or access information on your device via your browser and are treated similarly to cookies under cookie rules.

We always use strictly necessary cookies to ensure the website functions properly (e.g., cart, language/currency, security). We ask for your consent before using analytics and marketing cookies and similar storage (such as Local Storage) via our cookie banner.

3. Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

Before you provide consent, wandler.com only uses strictly necessary cookies for essential store functionality, including:

core Shopify storefront functionality,
remembering currency (EUR) and country/language settings,
and (where applicable) enabling the returns portal.

4. Analytics cookies and behavioural analysis (consent required)

If you consent to analytics cookies, we use tools to measure and improve website performance. This may involve cookies and/or Local Storage. After consent, the following services may be active:

Google Analytics (GA4): website measurement and statistics (multiple GA4 configurations/properties were identified).
Hotjar: heatmaps, session recordings and behaviour analytics (may involve profiling).
ContentSquare: UX and behaviour analytics, including potential session replay (may involve profiling).
Heap Analytics: product analytics and event tracking.
Shopify Analytics: Shopify analytics and conversion insights.
Microsoft Telemetry: telemetry storage was identified and its implementation/source needs to be confirmed.

5. Marketing cookies and tracking (consent required)

If you consent to marketing cookies, we and third parties may use cookies/Local Storage for ad measurement, retargeting and attribution. After consent, the following services may be active:

Meta (Facebook/Instagram): advertising tracking, retargeting and cross-site tracking.
Klaviyo: email marketing, product tracking and visitor identification (may also use Local Storage).
Pinterest: advertising attribution and retargeting.

6. Server-side tagging

After consent, we may use server-side tagging (e.g., via Stape) to process events and manage tags. Server-side tagging does not remove consent requirements; analytics/marketing processing only occurs after consent.

7. Wishlist/social commerce

We may offer wishlist/social commerce functionality (e.g., via Swym). Depending on configuration, this may be strictly functional or may include tracking. Where tracking is involved, it is only enabled after consent.

8. Shop App (shop.app)

A cookie/integration related to the Shop App (shop.app) may be present. The exact operation and retention periods are being reviewed. Where it is not strictly necessary, it is only enabled after consent.

9. Local Storage (important note)

In addition to cookies, wandler.com may store data in Local Storage, such as:

Klaviyo items that may contain viewed products/activity (including timestamps and page paths),
referrer information (traffic source),
Meta click identifiers (for cross-site tracking),
server-side tagging events,
and a visit counter.

Local Storage often remains until you delete it in your browser settings.

10. Retention

Retention periods for cookies and Local Storage are set by the relevant provider and/or our configuration. You can delete cookies through your browser settings. Where we can configure retention (e.g., in analytics tools), we apply settings in line with our privacy policy.

11. Third parties and international transfers
