After graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2018, he built a practice rooted in forgotten techniques and raw materials. By hand and with a belief that the making process should be visible in the finished piece.

It's a philosophy Wandler recognises. Both start with the material. Both believe the process leaves something behind worth keeping.

SELF-EXPRESSION

Colour is explored through the glaze. Stories through the surface. A practice that treats craft as a form of self-expression rather than production. Words carved into glazed earthenware, fragments of thought pressed into clay. Personal, sometimes funny, always honest about the process of making them.

“Ceramic holds something feminine. My visual language is inspired by African clay techniques, tactile, intuitive, hands-on. I push the material into bold, expressive shapes.”

ON VIEW AT KAMER

Floor's work is presented alongside the Wandler collection at Kamer. Both explore the relationship between form, proportion and material. Objects and bags placed in dialogue, where structure meets ease and surface is given space to be observed.
